( 1 ) The ink is not qualified.
It is the most serious problem about ink quality, if ink powder is large, it will lead to nozzle be clogged.
Clogging ink powder is one of directly related parameters that the size of ink particle. If ink powder is large, particle is large. There is no problem within short period if using the ink with large powder., but with the increasing usage, ink filter will gradually be clogged, causing ink pump be damaged, even some large particles will through ink filter, causing permanent clogging of solvent printer print head causing serious damage for solvent printer print head.
Solution: Change the good quality ink.
(2 ) The Influence of temperature and humidity rapidly change for Solvent Printer Print head and Ink.
When the Solvent Printer be producing, many powderies set a specific limit of temperature and humidity for working environment of the machine. The reason why limit be settled is that the stability of the ink determines the using of nozzle. the stability of the ink are made up of ink viscosity, surface tension, volatility, liquidity and other powders. Production process can not directly affects these parameters. Storage and environmental temperature and humidity of using play a decisive role in normal usage. ink viscosity will move up or down too much if the temperature is too high or low. That will damage the original state of ink and result in regular situation that Line break and image virtual scattered. On the other hand, If humidity is too low and relatively high temperature, volatile will be increased. Ink easily dry in the nozzle of surface, affecting working of solvent printer print head. If humidity is too high, the ink may be around the nozzle, it also affect nozzle working. The picture will keep dry. So please notice the change of temperature and humidity at any time. The requirement of humidity is subtle. The ink chamber of nozzle is small. Completion of process be completed by siphon phenomenon. So the rapid change of outside temperature easily
break its original balance because heat will be released when solvent printer print head is working. Ink keep balance and stable under this temperature. If the climate changes rapidly, like temperature grows up or declines. If there is no temperature control device indoor., the influence for solvent printer print head will be
appeared. Ink can not be used suddenly, solvent printer print head doesn’t work at the moment, same ink can not be used.
Solution: Control temperature, keep the change of temperature within 3-5℃ in the workshop.
(3 ) The Influence of Voltage for Solvent Printer Print head.
The voltage of solvent printer print head determines bending of piezoelectric ceramics for the inside of solvent printer print head.
So high voltage can increase the amount of ink, rated voltage of nozzle manufacturer suggest it is appropriate that voltage does not exceed a certain amount. It will be better that voltage as low as possible under it does not affect picture quality. Practice has proved that beyond a certain voltage could be happen broken ink frequently, the situation appears to reduce life. As we said before, high voltage cause curvature of the piezoelectric ceramic increase. If they are in a high-frequency
oscillation state, the nozzle of the piezoelectric crystal inside, it can easily fatigue and injury. Too low voltage of nozzle affect saturation of the screen. So, it is appropriate that the voltage of nozzle should be controlled in a certain amount.. The solvent printer print head of different brands solvent printers have different voltage. Different voltage have all kinds of requirements for ink viscosity. Higher voltage of solvent printer print head with more viscosity, lower voltage of solvent printer print head with less viscosity, both are proportional relationship.
A. Nozzle voltage is high and realitively low viscosity, it causes ink too much, speed too much.. The solvent printer print head will be clogging when ink dots forming droplet reflecting to the solvent printer print head, there will be flash and float out like ink.
B. If the nozzle voltage is low and ink viscosity is high, it will can not realease ink, color is uneven and not full.
Solution: Replace suitable ink or reduce voltage.
( 4 ) The influence of Electrostatic for equipment and ink.
This problem always not be noticed. As for weak piezoelectric nozzle, print substrate frict with roll producing lots of static during the inkjet printing process. If not promptly removed, it easily affect working of solvent printer print head, as the ink droplets by electrostatic influence enough away from its trajectory caused scattered out on the screen and virtual ink flying. If static is too strong may also damage nozzle. Computer equipment will display distortion and system crash., even machine circuit could be burned. So it is very important that taking effective measures to exclude static of the machine release. It is a good way that embedding ground wire to eliminate static.Strict speaking, ground wire of printing equipment should not be connected to public cable because you don’t know whether other equipments in the entire power supply network could release static. According to past experience, you should individually embed ground wire on the basis of standard of printing equipment. The proper method to embed ground wire is that copper plate of size less than 0.5 square meters through copper wire properly connect with device then embeding to 1.8M depth humid environment and pouring salt water. Start measuring residual static value after operating equipment above 1hour. The method is that adjusting multimeter to AC 200 files. Measurement hand connect null line with 220V power supply and ground wire. Read value, the value is absolute value of residual electrostatic value. The proper value is 1Ω and test frequently.
You should check ground wire at once once the value is greater than 1 or float obviously. Many printing companies think ground wire is once and for all, but often ignore regular check., it is too late when circuit board and nozzle burned.
(5 ) The Influence of Cleaning Method for Nozzle
The surface of the piezoelectric nozzle with a film. The laser drilling of the film determines precision of nozzle. Strictly, this film only is specialized material wipe thing. Sponge sign is relatively soft, but it could damage nozzle surface if using improperly. If force is excessive or sponge damaged, resulting in hard stick touch nozzle. It scratch the surface of nozzle even injuries orifices, causing orifice have fur at the edge then influence direction of inkjet, then ink will gather on the surface of nozzle. It is easily mixed with clogging of nozzle. There are lots of non-woven fabrics for wiping cloth in the market and material is rough. It is very dangerous that using wiping cloth to clean nozzle. We suggest using specilised wiping cloth.
(6 ) The Influence of Working Habit
Attention there should not have burr on suction pipe of the vacuum cleaner in case hurting nozzle during suction. Nozzle can not be dry, you need to keep it dry. Nozzle can not be clogged if you take good measures to protect it. The ink is bad to use mainly appear ink is not smooth and paste head ( Picture shows V type ) Color is not bright and fading fast and so on.
( 7 ) Ink viscosity
High viscosity ink cause ink stick in the ink tube, resulting in ink supplyment is not enough, color fault, especially winter, the situation is particularly outstanding under low temperature.
Solution: up indoor remperature ( turn on air-conditioner, dryer, heater ), reduce ink viscosity or using low viscosity ink.
(8) The viscosity of ink too low
If viscosity of ink is too low, ink is diluted too much., the speed of ink jet is fast. Ink print to banner will reflect back to solvent printer printerhead., resulting ink stay at nozzle, solvent printer printerhead be clogged.. Especially print same color in long time.
(9) Solution: Using professional cleaning stick with cleaning solution to clean the solvent printer print head. Changing high viscosity ink to thoroughly solve this problem.
